Haijiang Zhou Was Invited to Attend the Third "Belt and Road Initiative" Symposium

Jinping Xi, the Chinese President, the general secretary of the Communist Party of China (CPC) and the Central Committee and Chairman of the Central Military Commission, delivered a speech at the third Symposium on building the Belt and Road in Beijing on November 19. As the only representative of entrepreneurs in Jiangsu Province, Haijiang Zhou, The Chairman of the Board of Directors of HOdo Group, said excitedly after the video conference: "As Xi General Secretary mentioned in his speech, the development of Sihanoukville Special Economic Zone provides a strong energy for the local enterprises." 'This makes us feel very proud, which pushes us to implement further the new development concept in building SSEZ 2.0 construction. All to make SSEZ as an 'area' that as the model of "Belt and Road Initiative," to contribute to the economic and social development as well as the well-being of local people. Haijiang Zhou also said Jiangsu Provincial Party secretary Wu Zhenglong highlighted SSEZ in his speech. This represented the affirmations of the central Party and provincial party committee to the SSEZ Project.
Sihanoukville Special Economic Zone in Cambodia is collectively developed and constructed by HOdo Group, Chinese enterprises and Cambodian enterprises. After ten years of committed efforts, over 166 companies (institutions) from China, Europe and America, Southeast Asia, and other countries and regions have achieved win-win development at the platform of SSEZ. From January to October this year, the total import and export volume of enterprises in the region reached 1.767 billion U.S. dollars, 38.81% higher than that of the same period last year. SSEZ created nearly 30000 jobs, which is currently the fastest developing area with the biggest influence and best social image of Cambodia, Also known as the "golden rice bowl" in the local community.
The SSEZ Company is currently focusing on promoting the "three industrializations and three integrations." In other words, promoting the industrialization, internationalization and capitalization of the area, strengthening the integration of industry, city, education, enterprise development, social responsibility, and the upgraded version of the Special Zone 2.0. In this way, the SSEZ contributes to constructing a Sino-Cambodian community with a shared future.
