Recently, GS Thailand, which opened this year, has reported frequent good news. In the face of the COVID-19 epidemic and the difficulties of setting up factories overseas, GS Thailand’s team has made concerted efforts to overcome the current difficulties and pay close attention to market sales and regulations to prevent risks and benefits significantly improved.
Since the first tire of GS's Thailand plant rolled off the assembly line on December 28, 2019, on March 23 this year, the factory’s first container of tires set sail from Laem Chabang Port in Bangkok to the United States. The first stage of full-load production began in August. The company has established a good reputation among overseas peers for fast production speed, fast production capacity improvement, and strong profitability. At present, the production capacity of the Thai plant has achieved 500,000 sets of all-steel and 3 million sets of semi-steel, with monthly sales exceeding 100 million yuan. At the same time, it is actively exploring the local and international marketing network in Thailand to lay a solid foundation for subsequent performance growth. It is expected that the new average annual revenue will be 2.18 billion yuan after all production is reached.
Based on economic globalization, meeting the huge demand for products in the international market, and taking advantage of international supply chain management, tax exemption policies and preferential import tariffs, GS Thailand accelerated its production and sales, and achieved gratifying output. In the future, with the further improvement of the scale of production capacity, it is believed that GS's Thailand plant can once again achieve a leap in quality and quantity with the company's innate management and technical advantages, comprehensively enhance its comprehensive strength, and continue to contribute to the promotion of the "double cycle".
